Laura Elvebak is the author of LESS DEAD (2008) and LOST WITNESS (2009), published by L&L Dreamspell. Both books have received five star reviews and feature Niki Alexander, an ex-cop turned teen counselor. Her published short stories appear in three Final Twist Anthologies, A DEATH IN TEXAS (2008), the award winning A BOX OF TEXAS CHOCOLATES (2009), and TWISTED TALES OF TEXAS LANDMARKS (2010). Laura is also a screenwriter and has had several screenplays optioned. Originally from Los Angeles, Laura has been a proud Houstonian since 1981. Laura is a former chapter president of Mystery Writers of America, and serves as the treasurer of the Southwest Chapter and the chapter’s newsletter, The Sleuth Sayer. She is also a member of Sisters-In-Crime, International Thriller Writers, and The Final Twist Writers.
